Transition D365 Marketing module to PowerApps

Having those PowerApps thoughts as a “business angle” for a number of years now, the Marketing module was the one we were most concerned about how it can be supplemented. That have changed after working with ClickDimensions for PowerApps. The Microsoft D365 module for Marketing is a large and capable solution, no doubt, but it requires a larger investment/implementation phase, often performed by a big vendor with high degree of configuration.

ClickDimensions is a pioneer in offering advanced Marketing solutions embedded within Dynamics since 2011. While many products such as HubSpot and AcgtiveCampaign can offer you an integration of your CRM contacts to their platform, ClickDimensions bring their Platform to your CRM. Having been around for so long, Microsoft eventually had to catch on and copy their approach.

With cheaper licensing costs and just as advanced capabilities, ClickDimensions is better positioned for non-Furtune500 clients who don’t require to send million emails per month.  While core offerings that are similar to Microsoft, their solution works best without any customizations and includes built in capabilities and beautiful Campaign designer.   While D365 Marketing tends to be better for larger marketing departments with more complex offerings and Sales cycles.

Having implemented D365 Marketing for a large Utilities company we have stretched some of the product capabilities to their limits with integrating custom Segments, developed Channels & few advanced Analytics from blob storage and so on.  We also have our esteemed wizard Rob Philipps from the UK to help out where needed, but the purpose of this post is to convey another alternative with PowerApps.

For clients who are committed to other standalone platforms such as HubSpot, ActiveCampain or Adobe Marketo we can utilize available PowerApps Connectors to integrate their marketing solutions to their PowerApps Contact seamlessly instead.

All in all, we could easily implement and enhance D365 for Marketing taking that to the next levels. However, for clients who are looking to transition into PowerApps there is a strong alternative – let us demo to you ClickDimensions for PowerApps and help you tap on towards tremendous costs!
